Minister Hales Division: Minning Operation Centre.
CODELCO in partnership with COXARQ - Consultants. Developer: Inarco.
10,000 m2 (built) .Chuquicamata, 2012.

The mining operation centre of <Minister Hales Division> is a complex which, consists mainly of offices facility, meeting rooms, a large dining room, dressing rooms for workers and a CIO (Integrated Operations Centre). The project localisation is in the Andes Range, at 2400 meters above sea level, next the mining facilities. The position that I had in this project was an exciting and unique experience and also a opportunity to develop skills to participate actively in coordination of engineering projects. This project was developed by COXARQ with international quality standards promoted by our client, the national copper corporation CODELCO which, is the main copper producer in the world controlling around 10% of the world reserves of this metal.
In this project, we were consultants of CODELCO, in order to set up the architecture and the coordination of engineering solutions with INARCO, the assigned developer company. In this opportunity, I attended an expert in engineering coordination and I had the opportunity to provide solutions in the coordination meetings, as for example in the pipeline path definition such as electrical, water, climate and data cabling, and also participate in the decision making process of structural engineering project, material selection with suppliers and lead a team to develop the details and construction plans.
